Commercial Dispute Resolution

The Commercial Dispute Resolution SIG is convened by Keith Smith of Arthur Cox.  Lawyers in this group have experience in litigation, arbitration and mediation in all areas of commercial dispute. This includes:

Corporate disputes such as shareholder actions, warranty claims, breach of duty claims against directors ,anti corruption and fraud;

Commercial disputes arising from supply of goods, development of technology, maintenance of systems, internationals supply, broadcasting, music and publishing;

Financial and banking including asset tracing and recovery, coordinated worldwide freezing orders, and enforcing the many financial instruments associated with funding and trade;

Individuals as high net worth individuals with business or commercial interests;

The SIG meets once a year hosted by one of the member firms. The SIG seeks to educate it’s members in the methods of dispute resolution in all it’s jurisdictions and to encourage referral of work especially in cross border claims.
