The AEL SIG Day, hosted on 22 May by WKB Lawyers in Warsaw, brought together approximately 140 delegates from across the network for a day of focused discussion, knowledge sharing and reconnecting in person.
The event took place at Hotel Verte, offering a central and elegant setting for the programme. Following registration and lunch, the afternoon opened with a joint session before participants split into their respective Special Interest Groups. Throughout the afternoon, each SIG held dedicated working sessions, allowing members to exchange insights, discuss current challenges and share best practices within their areas of expertise.
The format allowed for both structured discussion and informal interaction, with coffee and refreshments available throughout the sessions. The afternoon concluded with a networking reception at the hotel, providing an opportunity for delegates to reconnect across practice areas.
In the evening, participants gathered for a gala dinner at Villa Foksal, continuing the day’s discussions in a more relaxed setting while also enjoying the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the network.
The SIG Day once again highlighted the value of the AEL network – bringing together professionals from different firms and jurisdictions to learn from one another, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships.
