Amalia Erotokritos joined the corporate law department of the firm in 2007 and in 2008 was admitted to the Cyprus Bar. She has experience in work involving the incorporation, administration and restructuring of companies.
She has advised on major banking projects and in 2018 she was part of our firm’s team which acted as legal consultants for the Cyprus Cooperative Bank (CCB) in their business transfer agreement with Hellenic Public Bank Company Limited. She has also been involved in projects carrying out legal due diligence on Cyprus entities, as well as drafting and providing legal opinions on documentation in international transactions and structures that include Cyprus entities.
Amalia advises banks on both day-to-day matters as well as on specific projects. Her work also involves drafting and providing legal opinions on corporate documents, banking and other financial services documentation and commercial agreements.
Amalia graduated in Law (BA Law (Oxon)) from the University of Oxford (Worcester College) in 1999 and went on to acquire an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from King’s College London. Between 2000 and 2007, Amalia was a legal adviser at the Cyprus Popular Bank.
