June 16 we were hosted by our friends at Noerr in Munich.
Delegates stayed in The Charles Hotel which is also where the SIG Day itself took place.
The Training Seminar started at midday with delegates enjoying a mix of buffet and flying buffet food and drinks where they could socialise and catch up. For an hour afterwards there was a session for all attendees conducted by Paul Epstein KC and Andy Hobbs on “The Psychology of Giving Evidence”. After which delegates split into their respective SIG groups for individual 2 hour sessions.
That evening, delegates met in the foyer of the hotel and split into groups for a walking tour of Munich learning about the locality and ended up at where they were having dinner, Spatenhaus an der Opera which, as the name suggests, was just over from the Opera House. Delegates were treated to a traditional Bavarian feast followed by drinks back at the hotel.
This is the second SIG day that AEL have organised and paid for, including up to ne night’s accommodation for up to two delegates per firm. We hope it shows our commitment to developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships across the SIGs and AEL member firms.
We would like to give our utmost thanks to everyone at Noerr who assisted in making this such a great event.
