Env & Ren Training Day

The Environment & Renewables Special Interest Group of AEL are hosting a training day looking at recent legal developments and key topics in the energy and renewables sector and environment and planning law. Peter Allbrook of Morgan Cole who is convenor of the group explained: “The conference will be useful for energy specialists as well as those working in environmental and planning, whether from a commercial, property or corporate focus. This event should also provide some excellent networking opportunities.” Topics and Speakers include: Planning for Renewable Energy in Wales – Simon Hartley, AECOM Case Law Update on Planning and Environmental Law – Peter Wadsley, St Johns Chambers, Bristol Scottish Planning Law Update – Alastair McKie and Cecilia O’Connell, Anderson Strathern Coalition Government approach to Consenting Energy Infrastructure – Roderick Ellison, Ecosulis Ltd Pentland Firth Case Study – Anderson Strathern The conference will be followed by social meeting at nearby hostelry.
