Delegates stayed in The Tocq Hotel, a few steps from Corso Como, in one of the liveliest streets.
On Thursday 24th May we were welcomed by Fiorella Alvino for welcome drinks/walking dinner on a terrace at Ughi e Nunziante’s new impressive offices. Fiorella had especially flown in Mozzarella and ham from her own restaurant
The topic for the Training Seminar was M&A Negotiations and commenced at 9:00am on Friday 25th May with welcomes from our host and Jeff Gillbanks, the Association’s Secretary General.
Antoine Henry de Frahan, an external speaker facilitated the day and we felt an excellent addition to the day. Helping Antoine along the way we also had speak Fabio Liguori (Ughi e Nunziante) and Dirk van Gerven (NautaDutilh).
AEL would like to thank all those for their excellent and informative presentations and we hope that all delegates found the presentations as interesting as we did. Please do send any ideas for future topics of our Training Seminars to Helen Cooper.
That evening, a couch picked up delegates from the hotel and we travelled a short distance, talking in some Milan sights along the way, to Duomo Terrace 21 with, which you may expect, stunning views of the Duomo. Dinner was also excellent.
The programme on Saturday 26th May included a visit to the Science and Technique Museum, followed by a visit to Leonardo’s Vineyard and to Palazzo Atellani, lunch at Palazzo Atellani, a visit to the Brera’s Gallery culminating with spare time in Milan city centre and dinner at Antica Trattoria della Pesa.
From feedback received so far, this truly was a most special training seminar and we would like to give our utmost thanks to Fiorella Alvino, Matteo Magistrelli and all their team that worked so hard.
