Dear All,
I hope this email reaches you all well.
It has been a while since our last conference call and thank you to all of you who have responded to the action points from that call. I will circulate the information I have received in due course but if any of you would like to submit further input, please do.
Since we last spoke, the Executive Committee have been arranging the next training seminar and have chosen the topic of Corporate (with an essence of commercial property) for the event. As an SIG, this provides an opportunity for us to meet and perhaps for some of us to present on a particular angle of corporate M&A. Therefore, I am inviting you all to send in your suggestions for topic. The topic will be something not too specific but with a link to commercial property within an example transaction that can be used for a case study.
The training seminar is kindly being hosted by our Greek member firm, Panagopoulos Vainanidis Schina Economou in Athens from 19-22 May 2011. The Commercial Property SIG will also be attending as well as invitations being sent to all members of AEL and with such an exciting venue, there is sure to be enthusiasm for attendance. Invitations will be sent out in the next few weeks but in the meantime, please put these dates in your diary.
I propose we have a call as soon as possible to discuss further the suggestions and, with this in mind, please send me any suggestions you have by next Friday, 11th February with a view to joining a conference call the following week on Tuesday 15th February at 9am GMT, 10am CET.
Dial in details for the call are:
0800 279 8162 (UK only)
+44 (0) 20 7107 9462 (outside UK)
Participant code: 01 83 522#
Please confirm to Su Rawlinson by email (su.rawlinson@europeanlawyers.org) if you can attend this call.
I look forward to speaking with you then.
Kind regards
Glafkos Tombolis, Partner.
