Competition

Anti-competition laws exist to ensure that there are no anticompetitive agreements or abuse of a dominant market position. AEL law firms have competition law specialists to help businesses stay compliant with competition law at national and EU level. Failure to comply with competition law can have a serious impact on businesses including fines, invalid commercial agreements and complications with acquisitions.

AEL lawyers can steer clients through the most complex of national and EU competition matters including the drafting of agreements, evaluation of risks and advice on compliance. Preventative steps are the best way to mitigate risks, but should your business undergo competition authority actions such as dawn raids and investigations, AEL lawyers can advocate on your business’ behalf. In addition should you wish to submit a complaint regarding the anti-competitive practices of other businesses, AEL lawyers can guide you through the process.
