Environment & renewables

Environment and renewables is a complex combination of state, federal, and international treaty law pertaining to issues of concern to the environment and protecting natural resources such as pollution of soil, air, or water, global warming, and depletion of oil, coal, and clean water. Renewables relate primarily to the transactional legal and policy issues that surround the development, implementation and commercialization of renewable sources.

AEL lawyers provide services to challenge a wide array of environmental legal issues, including helping their clients achieve compliance with environmental laws and regulations and identifying and minimizing environmental risks in the context of business and real estate transactions. Our experienced environment lawyers are assisted by expert lawyers in the areas of litigation, government relations and rulemaking, employment law, insurance defense, and real estate law to provide comprehensive counsel.
